Air that never drops. A bill that does.
HawaOS is an AI reliability engineer for compressed air. It guarantees your instrument air stays up, cuts the electricity behind it by 15 to 25%, and proves both on one invoice, delivered by Arcoma technicians across Saudi Arabia.
The industrial tariff rises 15% on 1 January 2027. An audit started this month puts your first report in your hands before it lands.
Example station, illustrative data
Live
A sag, a work order, a recovery, and then nothing happens for a very long time. That is the whole product.
What does your air cost? Ten seconds.
Enter your installed compressor power and how long it runs. The result uses the 2027 industrial tariff of 23 halalas per kWh and the waste range audits find most often. Most plant managers have never seen this number.
Compressed air is usually a tenth of a plant's electricity and is billed inside the total, so nobody owns the line. HawaOS gives it an owner.
Based on 23 halalas per kWh from 1 January 2027 and a 15 to 25% savings range. Your own number comes from your own 90 days of data.
Find my real numberCompressed air is the utility nobody watches, and in 2027 it gets expensive three ways.
It is about a tenth of a plant's electricity, the one system whose failure sends every control valve to fail-safe, and usually the least instrumented thing in the building.
The electricity bill rises 15%
Saudi Energy's industrial tariff moves from 20 to 23 halalas per kWh on 1 January 2027. A 1.5 MW air system running 8,000 hours a year costs SAR 2.76M at the new rate, and audits typically find 15 to 25% of that is waste: leaks, pressure set too high, compressors fighting each other, dryers past their best.
The downtime bill is bigger
Loss of instrument air pressure triggers shutdown sequences across a process plant. Refineries have lost their whole throughput to one tripped compressor. One avoided trip in a petrochemical unit is worth more than a year of energy savings, and it is the promise plant managers remember.
The compliance bill is new
Energy-intensive plants keep the discounted intensive-consumption tariff only by passing the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center's annual efficiency verification. Since May 2025, plants that do not qualify pay a surcharge of 2 halalas on every kWh. Verified data for your largest motor loads is part of staying eligible.
Three questions to ask your plant this week
- When did you last measure night-time flow with the plant idle? That is your leak load, and most plants have never measured it.
- What is your header pressure set to, and who decided? Every bar above what the plant needs costs about 7% in energy.
- Who gets the call when the air drops at 3 a.m., and how long until someone is on site?

Three promises, one invoice.
A HawaOS Performance contract is an outcome, not a software licence. Each promise has a metric, a method and a remedy, written into the contract and reported every month.
No unplanned loss of instrument air
Measured by header pressure against your set minimum, logged every second and reported monthly.
If missed: service credits, and an Arcoma technician on site within the contracted hours.
Energy at or below the agreed figure
Measured by metered power and flow, in kWh per 1,000 m³, against a 90-day baseline, using IPMVP methods.
If missed: the fee is reduced in proportion to the shortfall.
Audit-ready energy data
Measured by a monthly report in the format SEEC verification and ISO 50001 expect: consumption, specific energy, actions, verified savings.
If missed: that month is free.
An engineer that never leaves the compressor room.
Four steps, closed in a loop. The first two are machines; the third is the agent; the fourth is people. The loop runs every second of every day.
Step 1 of 4
Sense
A brand-agnostic gateway reads your compressor controllers over Modbus TCP or OPC UA, plus a retrofit kit: power, flow, header pressure, dew point and ambient temperature. An Arcoma technician installs it in a day during a routine visit.
Step 2 of 4
Model
A digital twin of your air system: supply curve, demand profile, leak load from night-time flow, pressure-band waste, dryer health, cooler fouling at 45°C ambient, and failure risk for bearings, valves and motors.
Step 3 of 4
Decide
The agent turns each finding into a priced work order, books the technician, and explains itself in plain Arabic or English to whoever is on shift. It reads service history and technicians' voice notes as well as telemetry.
Step 4 of 4
Deliver and verify
Arcoma's technicians do the work. The agent checks the fix in the data, computes the verified saving against your baseline, writes the SEEC and ISO 50001 report, and answers your questions on WhatsApp.
What HawaOS does not do in year one
No control writes to your compressors. HawaOS reads, recommends, prices and schedules; your people and Arcoma's turn the valves. Control comes later, plant by plant, when the data has earned it.
What the audit usually finds.
Three typical Saudi plants at the 2027 industrial tariff of 23 halalas per kWh. The savings column is the range audits report most often; your own number comes from your own 90 days of data.
| Plant | Installed compressor power | Running hours a year | Electricity for air, SAR a year | 15 to 25% savings, SAR a year |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mid-size factory (food, packaging, pharma) | 400 kW | 6,500 | 598,000 | 90,000 to 150,000 |
| Large plant (steel, cement, glass) | 1.5 MW | 8,000 | 2,760,000 | 414,000 to 690,000 |
| Petrochemical or gas complex | 4 MW | 8,400 | 7,728,000 | 1,159,000 to 1,932,000 |
Who pays for the fixes
The plant does, out of the savings, on one invoice. The leak repairs, control changes and dryer or cooler work the agent prescribes are executed by Arcoma at pre-agreed rates and passed through on the HawaOS invoice; the savings share is calculated net of those works, so your net position improves from the first month. A replacement compressor stays your own purchase.
A worked example
A mid-size plant with SAR 120,000 of verified savings a year keeps SAR 72,000 of it. HawaOS takes SAR 48,000 plus a fixed fee for the availability guarantee. The plant pays less for air than before, with a guarantee it did not have.
Start with monitoring. Grow into a guarantee.
Three tiers, each a step up in commitment. Most plants begin with Monitor at their next service renewal and move to Performance after the first report.
Monitor
For every compressor station, at your next service renewal.
Live readings, a weekly Air Performance Report, alarms that arrive with a reason and a recommended action. The kit is included and installed by Arcoma.
From SAR 1,500 a month per station
Performance
For plants with 300 kW or more of compressors.
The three promises in a 3 to 5 year contract: availability guarantee, guaranteed specific energy, audit-ready data. A fixed fee plus a share of verified savings, paid from the bill it cuts.
Priced from your audit
Assure
For plants replacing or expanding a station.
Compressed air as a utility. HawaOS and a financing partner own and run the equipment; you pay per 1,000 m³ of air delivered, with the three promises built in and no capital outlay.
Next, from 2028
Built for the plants where air is critical.
The same kit and the same promises; what changes is which promise matters most on your site.
Petrochemicals and gas
Instrument air for control valves and shutdown systems. The promise that matters: no unplanned loss of air, ever.
Food and beverage
Packaging lines, pneumatic conveying, air that touches product. The promise that matters: air quality and dew point, documented.
Cement, glass and building materials
Dust, heat and big compressors under SEEC intensity targets. The promise that matters: specific energy, verified.
Steel and aluminium
Continuous processes with the highest electricity bills in the Kingdom. The promise that matters: the intensive-consumption tariff, kept.
Pharma and packaging
Oil-free air, tight dew points and an auditor who wants the records. The promise that matters: audit-ready data, every month.
Logistics and manufacturing hubs
Many small stations across one site or one group. The promise that matters: one view, one invoice, one technician booking.
Installed and serviced by the people who already service your compressors.
HawaOS is delivered in Saudi Arabia with Arcoma, the exclusive distributor of Kaeser stationary compressors in the Kingdom and Festo's authorised distributor, supplying and servicing plants since 1987.
Arcoma's technicians install the kit, carry the parts and do the work. HawaOS watches, decides, schedules and verifies. You get one invoice and one number to call, and the service relationship you already have becomes a guarantee.
Arcoma branches
Works with the compressors you already own
Controllers are read over Modbus TCP and OPC UA; where a controller offers neither, the retrofit kit measures the station directly.
The report your energy manager has been asked for.
Every month, HawaOS produces the compressed-air section of your energy-management evidence: metered consumption, specific energy, the actions taken and the savings verified, in the format SEEC verification and ISO 50001 expect.
What is in the monthly report
- Electricity consumed by the air system, metered, by station
- Specific energy in kWh per 1,000 m³ against baseline and target
- Availability: minutes below the set minimum pressure, with causes
- Work orders raised, completed and verified, with before-and-after data
- Verified savings in kWh and SAR, by the method in the contract
- The open risks the model is watching, ranked
Delivered as a PDF and as data your energy-management system can import.
The questions plant managers ask first.
Short answers here; the long ones are on the method and security pages.
No. In year one the gateway only reads: controller data over Modbus TCP or OPC UA, plus its own sensors. Every change to a setpoint, a valve or a sequence is made by a person, with a work order behind it. Control comes later, plant by plant, only when you ask for it and the data has earned it.
Yes. HawaOS is brand-agnostic. Kaeser, Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand, Sauer, Samsung Techwin and most others expose their controllers over Modbus or OPC UA; where a controller does not, the retrofit kit measures power, flow, pressure and dew point at the station directly. A Kaeser station keeps its Sigma Air Manager doing exactly what it does today; HawaOS sits beside it and watches the whole system, not one brand.
Ninety days of metered power and flow before any fix, normalised for production and ambient temperature, following IPMVP Option B. The method is written into the contract, your energy manager receives the raw data, and either side can call an independent auditor licensed by the Saudi Energy Efficiency Center if the numbers are disputed.
The remedy is in the contract, not in a conversation. A missed availability promise earns service credits and an Arcoma technician within the contracted hours; a missed energy figure reduces the fee in proportion to the shortfall; a missed report makes that month free. We can only afford these terms because the agent watches every second; that is the point of it.
You own your plant's data. It is hosted in the Kingdom, sent one way from the gateway over an encrypted link, exportable at any time and deleted on request when a contract ends. HawaOS uses it to serve your contract; models are improved only on aggregated data, with your consent in writing.
The 90-day audit is free for the ten lighthouse plants of early 2027; after that, Monitor starts from SAR 1,500 a month per station with the kit included, and Performance is priced from your audit. The first weekly report arrives in week two; the first fixes, usually leak repair and a pressure-band change, happen inside the first month.
Arcoma has installed and serviced compressors across Saudi Arabia since 1987 and has technicians and parts in six cities, which is what makes an availability guarantee deliverable. If you run your own service team, HawaOS can route work orders to them instead, with Arcoma as backup for the hours your team does not cover; the promises then follow the responsibilities agreed in the contract.
Ten lighthouse plants. First quarter of 2027. The audit is free.
We are instrumenting ten plants in Saudi Arabia in the first quarter of 2027. For those ten, the 90-day Air Performance Audit costs nothing, in exchange for honest feedback and a reference if we earn it. Petrochemicals, food, building materials and pharma first.
- Week 1: an Arcoma technician installs the gateway and sensors in one day
- Weeks 2 to 12: weekly Air Performance Reports as the baseline builds
- Week 12: the audit report in riyals, and a Performance offer priced from your own data
No commitment beyond the audit. Your data stays in the Kingdom and the gateway never writes to your machines.
Thank you. We will reply within one working day.
An engineer will call to confirm your site details and propose an installation date with Arcoma.
Hawa means air.
HawaOS is built in Saudi Arabia as a mobai. product, by a team of compressed-air engineers and AI engineers, with Arcoma as founding partner and investor.
We started in the compressor room because it is where the money and the risk hide: a tenth of the electricity, a single point of failure, and almost no instrumentation. We are building toward every motor-driven utility in the plant, and toward every plant in the region that a good distributor can reach.
Data is hosted in the Kingdom. The gateway reads and never writes. Every number we publish carries its method.
